A walk in the rain

Not too long ago, I went down for a jog, only to come home drenched from head to toe because there was no shelter along the walk back from the waterfront park which is about 2.5km from my house.

As I ran along the path, I kept praying and praying to God and ask Him not to pour the rain down on me. Even if He wants to rain, please do not pour it down on me. But well, Big Daddy didn't really listened to me and He POURED rain on me. Haha.

Well, some people may just started to think "AH! You see! He don't answer to your prayers all the time ba!" or "I thought you should have listened to me?!" and then started blaming God in all sorts of ways. Haha. Human instinct is to be too quick to blame and to be too cynical about life, isn't it?

BUT! BUT! BUT! I am proud that I'm not like the imaginary people whom I had described. I have so much faith in Him and trust in Him that I started pondering, what did He had for me this time round. I mean, He always manifest Himself in so many ways that it's up to me to think of what He had given me. He had planned everything for us.

So, keeping my faith alive and keeping my morale up all the time, I began to come out with anything great instead of cursing and swearing at the state I was in.

Big Daddy must have granted me sometime out in the natures to breathe in fresh air and to enjoy the fresh air after cooping myself in my room to study (and to catch up with political news) for so many days. It's not healthy! For once, I was able to sit there and stare at the raindrops and experience the nature around me. (Oh by the way, praise the Lord that there was a bus stop nearby for me to sit there and experience the nature la. Lol!)

And then, the rain did became a little lighter, so, I decided to start my walk back. SERIOUSLY! It rained super heavily again and then became a little lighter and super heavily again. Haha. I thought, He want to show me something in real life. My life is like a walk in the rain. It can get really heavy. But, He gave me the courage to walk out of the bus stop (aka shelter) to brave the rain. Yes, it can get heavier through the way but it can get lighter through the way too. And, along the way, we can find another shelter and sit there too. But seriously, no matter what, we will still have to make ourselves walk home man. Whether we want to continue to waste our time to sit there and wait for the rain to stop then walk home or to brave the rain to walk home, we still have to go home! And, we will reach home eventually!

And that's just like what I had actually experienced through the months. I was in the rain but I did not give up at all. And, at the end of the day, I managed to get home. And Big Daddy just made it better along the way because He have already planned everything for us all. And, praise the Lord because the rain (be it the walk or my life) did became a drizzle and I managed to get home without much trouble. And He held the rain until I hit the shelter back home again. Praise the Lord!

I know that many of you are very cynical about our Lord Almighty and does not understand why are we behaving in such a way. Or, even feel that we are in a cult. Some of you may be even scared of all these things. But faith and belief can change your life entirely. Why I say this? Oh, because I was once one of the people who was cynical and scared.

Smile whenever you can. Never think of the negative if you can think of the positive. Search your brain for positive things if you can! Life is just SO GREAT SO GREAT! Hallelujah!!
