Getting ready for the Convocation.

Haha. Today is considered a pretty big day in my life long calender. Well, at least it's a day that we've been looking forward to, since 4 years ago, in 2006. SO, I have to make sure that nothing too wrong goes on today. Haha.

1. Invitation cards, checked.

2. Extra battery checked. Oh, we cannot go without extra batteries right? Luckily I realized all my batteries are actually almost FLAT! Hohohohoho. Thank god I checked. =D

3. To look prettier than usual, make up. I hope I'm not going to make a mess out of myself, AGAIN. LOL!

4. What if someone gets lost? Or needs to call me? Haha. Or *touchwood* camera flat. iPhone to the rescue. Haha. I had fully charged it le! Lol!

5. All my medications in my bag! Oh, if you got headache gastric sore throat, come and look for me ba. Lol! I have them all in my bag. Lol! But urm, not going to share my Mebetin and Omeprazole though. Hehs.

6. In case of pain, my antacids to the rescue. Oh, it din really help the last 2 rounds, but still, it's better to bring it along anyway. And, haha, look at my cutie zip lock bag. Don't be too jealous of me ok? Haha!

7. Digestive biscuits in case of hunger. Look for me if you have sudden hunger pangs? Haha.

9. Small little tiny amount of liquid food each meal (aka breakfast) to ensure that my gastric wun flare up in a full blown version. Result: Walk up the stage/around the school with a cringing look and like an old ah ma. Hehs. Thank god it's just a little bit of gastric and heartburn and bloat this morning. But damn, I'm hungry again.

10. Extra porridge. Haha. Mama scare I get hungry in school and I dun have anything to eat. Hmm. I feel like a patient. Lol.

11. Last but not least, a lot of water. Not just to quench the thirst, but also to ensure that I have ample amount of water to dilute the acid when need. Oh, we just have to be careful, don't we?

And now, keep my mind occupied so I will not think about my gastric. Lol. It's time for rock and roll! Ok, maybe some food first. Hahahaha!

A visit to the TCM.

Although I seem to on the road to recovery, judging by my hunger level the entire day, I still haven't. Plus, Ah dear and mama thinks that I should go to the TCM for some herbs/remedies since western medicine cannot seem to help me too much.

So, there we go! Went with mama and lotus because she also needs to see a doctor. Haha. I tried to make her look like a minnie mouse with the ribbon. But, erm, she doesn't have that two ears. So, doesn't really look like it eh. Lol.

The clinic we went to is at Yishun, Blk 925. Close enough, since we just have to take a straight bus there. Everyone had been raving good reviews about the clinic. Wah, say until the doctor is a 神医 (magical doctor) like that! And these people are my relatives. So, believe it a little. Since he had made  四姨 felt better when no other doctors could.

And the clinic had to make their certificate SO BIG! Lol! Okok, I realllllly believe you are certified. Hehs.

Well, the moment I open the door, I want to run away immediately. My gawd! The smell is too strong le ba?! As in the smell of the medicated oil. Gosh. Argh. And mama was saying "wah, the smell is sooo nice!". No, I beg to differ. Haha.

Well, the doctor must be from China because he ends up speaking some dialect to the lady (which I assumed was his wife cum assistant). Hehs. Hmmm. I just keep reminding myself, he is REALLY GOOD! And accordingly to the 'painting' below, he cures almost every sort of funny disease! Hahaha! And I would label mine as one, since no one had cured me yet and my endoscopy results were really good!

And ok, he started with Lotus and ended up giving her some medications.

And then come my turn. (Before that, he wanted me to write my name in Chinese. My gawd, it felt so difficult to write! Hahaha!) He din tell me anything that I din know of already. And he din say anything that the Dr Ho and Dr Goh had not told me already. But, 2 things he did so super differently!

  1. He pressed my tummy so SUPER SUPER hard! Wah, I would have think I would say it's painful without having gastric at that particular moment lo.

  2. He actually ACUPUNCTURED me!

(Have to find photos online because I had no hands to take my own photo. LOL!)

Urm, it was not entirely an enjoyable experience. I had one needle on each wrist, each knee and 2 on my tummy. I can totally feel things flowing through the veins and nerves and arteries etc. Haha. There's some wierd sensation that I don't like. At the end of it, my wrist was sooooo tired. It really felt like the aftermath of an injection. Haha. No, I din really feel much better, I would say.

And after that, I had 3 medicine. I feel so insecure taking them. I don't know what's in them and he don't tell me what's inside. I can always google my medication but, this time round, I couldn't. I just have to trust the doctor to give me the right things! Oh bleahs. And by the way, the black black medication taste really bad. >.<

AND AND AND! I dunno if it's the stuffs that I had ate the entire day, or it's the medications, I had super bad gastric at night. Even though I had gastric almost the entire 2 weeks, it wasn't to the extent of crippling pain. I can't even walk yesterday. It was terrible. Plus, taking the medication again at night caused me extreme pain. WHAT DID HE GAVE ME?!! I don't dare to imagine. Haha.

Well, my mama ask me to stop the medication until the convo's over. Haha. Alright, I am more than willing to agree!

And, hehs, I wonder if mixing the western medicine and the chinese medicine is bad. But I listened to the doctor and take them 1 hour apart le! OH WELLS..................

Let me whine abit.

I want to:

  1. Eat MacDonalds and upsize my fries to LARGE and finish them ALL. Definitely going to make sure my favourite garlic chili is right in front of me. Probably ask someone along so that I can eat their fries too.

  2. Go to the nearest secret recipe and order a whole chocolate banana cake and eat the whole thing myself. I am not going to share.

  3. Eat 5 waffles with a thick stab of nutella and 2 bananas.

  4. Eat the entire pack of tomato flavor twisties that I bought quite sometime ago. It must have 'lao hong' by now? Lol.

  5. Probably do a stomach bypass to end all the sensitive stomach problems. (I am actually joking. Haha.)

NOW!

Hahahahahahahaha!

The doctor is running out of medicine to give me!

I din want to go to the hospital on Monday. But I was psycho-ed. Mainly by ah dear. What ulcers la, need endoscopy la, etc. And I was reading about my symptoms online. What ulcer la, cancer la etc. Looks kinda scary. Haha. So, I chickened out, and went knocking at Dr Goh's door in the end. I had a close shave with CT scan though. I'm a chicken. I don't like hospital procedures..... They are scary things.

Seeing Dr Goh again feels kinda, familiar? Haha. I still think he look so CUTE! Haha. Cute as in, white white, a little chubby and little not very tall that kinda cute. Haha. Thank god he's not some lao ko ko doctor sia.. Hahaha. That put me at ease to babble non stop about my different pains and uncomfort. LOL!

But the main thing I wanted to do was to show off my current collection of medicine! Haha!

My current best friend! Aluminium hydroxide. Haha. Ok, anatacids to be exact.

It had became my best friend overnight! After I start having heart burns since yesterday. Gosh, it's such a terrible feeling. I don't think I had heart burns before sia... I had to stop work suddenly today because I had another attack in the afternoon. Was clutching my chest the entire time and feeling a little breathless and it was so miserable. Please don't scare me and tell me that it's some heart attack thing. LOL!

I have another new best friend called mebetin. Haha. It's supposed to make my GI tract move better. It helped initially. I think I screwed it up with a little bit of Indian food. =(

I have another one that causes GI spasm too! Lol. This is so expensive sia!

Of course, my all time favorite have to be proton pump inhibitors. Well, put it simply, it reduces the acidity in my stomach.

Omeprazole? Currently taking it every meal. Boo!

Ranitidine/Zendhin/Zantec was my all-time favorite leh. But this time round, it has no effect on me this time round. I was already finishing the course Dr Ho gave me. Tsk tsk tsk.

And last but not least, raperazole. I got this when I was discharged from hospital last time. Hmm. It was supposed to be good. But, I din rmb it being good. Haha. Oh wells, so that's why Dr Goh is asking me how? He's running out of medicine to give me already! >.<

Oh, last week I actually got another new medicine from Dr Ho eh! Haha. Domperidone. It's supposed to erm, relieve flatulence. But, wasn't it more of anti-emetic ma??? Oh wells, at least it made me burp burp burp last week. But then, after getting rid of the air, I need to get rid of the acid toooooooo!

Haha. I feel that I have accumulated alot alot alot alot alot alot alot of toxins just by looking at the medicine leh. I hope the heartburns/bloatedness/gastric/not able to eat etc will STOP haunting me. It's the 10th day already! I want/need/have to end this misery......... >.<

And there's something I want to say. Why's the hospital always SO GENEROUS in dispensing medicine ar? I get on average, 5 day course from normal clinics. So why must SGH prescribe 6 months course for me?! It makes me feel that they think I need 6 months to recover!! NO!!!!!
