Aren't we lucky?

I really feel that we are really lucky. There's no natural disaster in our country. Thanks to all the countries that surround us, this little island, that's just a red dot on the world map, is being protected.

Yes, we complain about the government at times, we complain about the weather at times, we complain about the stress of living in this country at times, we complain about how tiny our place is, we complain about all the sloppiness, the language, the kids, the people, a lot of different things at times. But, at the other times, which is the majority of my time, I feel lucky to be living in Singapore.

Of course, I cannot speak for all who are living here. But, I know that, I love the fact that I'm a Singaporean and I'm proud to be a Singaporean.

May god bless all the people in Japan and Kun Ming and the countries on Tsunami alerts now. Stop the trembles, stop the waters, stop the fire, stop the explosions. Bring back the missing to reunite with their families. Allow the safety be reported back to the dire loved ones. Heal the injures. May the unfortunate rest in peace. Let the rescue missions be smooth and successful. Stop the death toll from increasing any further. And, the world will continue to keep all of them in their prayers. Thank you everyone above for helping.
