What a boring batam getaway. Hahaha. But! The boring part is just limited to the fact that Batam has nothing much to do. Shopping wise, we can get those stuffs from Bugis (I'm serious! The tour guide say that we can get it cheaper in Bugis cos they get it from there de.) Food wise, nothing exciting except the last Black Canyon Coffee. Activity wise, I only remember that I keep going up and down the bus. Lol!
BUT!
I'm spiritual de. It's all the time spend together with my parents and dear dear that matters. Letting my parents pamper themselves a little by going for massage, chilling in our big big hotel room and rot our free time away etc. Hahahaha! And also before and after the trip, it was Dear's Papa who drove us. And I feel so happy when all parents have so much to talk in common. Lol. I was half expecting that they are going to produce a photo and then the background contain some unknown person who happen to be either of them. LOL!
This is what a SHORT getaway is about. Hehs. Don't tell me that I can do the same thing at home. At home will just be me and my bed or me and my sewing machine or me and my macbook most of the time. And I learned a little more about Batam/Indonesia as a whole. And also, being in a whole new environment just made me love Singapore more once again.
Of course, I still love my bedroom the most. (I have to tidy it a little though. Heh.)
