I had never understand what was the 'Love Life' movement that fanfan and hei ren initiated was about. I knew it involved a lot of celebrities from Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong. It was only recently when I started logging onto WeiBo (Chinese equivalent of Twitter) then I started reading about them.
It was the movement that involves the children who had been diagnosed with cancer and they want to help the world by spreading the 2 simple words, Love Life. And as for the adults, they are to raise funds for them of course. And with the funds, they can realise the dreams or wishes or some of them.
From what I had understood, Dora had been an angel. She used all her might to live her life to the fullest. She has a lot of dreams and she want to fulfil them all. And that included playing the cello in a concert. She did it despite her frail body. She taught a lot of people around her what is loving someone. She left a footprint in many's hearts. She touched many. She was lucky because she had a chance to say goodbye to everyone and tell them she loved them all, one by one. Loving yourself and loving someone else is not just about saying it out loud. Actions defined how well you had done it. I'm sure she did it well.
Even though I don't really know Dora at all, I was touched by her courage by just hearing about what she had done. On this point, Goodbye, Dora. I'm sure that although you had not seen the great big world, you had lived your life to the fullest. And that's probably what a lot of the adults, who had went through so many years of life, were not able to do.
