I finally have some time to sit down and blog about my lovely new toy! Haha. No much time to play around with.

Can you see the clock? It's late and I'm hard at work.

But because it's pretty dummy proof (at least to me), I was not lost in trying to adjust all the this this that that. There's even tutorials inside the camera to teach you how to take different type of photos! And everything you roll over to another function, the camera will also tell you what is it. Of course of course, you can turn the help function off! Ha!

The camera came with 2 lens (well, because I bought the set with 2 lens). One wide angle 16mm another one (the one I use by default) 18-55mm. Hehs. I was having trouble exchanging lens in the beginning sia. So much for acting professional. But wells, this is all in the past already ok?! Hehs.

To make myself look more professional, I would need a camera bag, don't I? Haha. Well, it's pretty essential if I want to bring my extra lens out I would say. And although the idea of slinging Nexy around my neck all the time is appealing, I have to take into account of what if it rained (it happened to me) and what if my neck gets really sweaty (it happened to me too). Well, Harvey Norman gave me a bag!

I love the velcro compartments inside. Just pull it out and adjust to the size I want~

And urm, I now have this thing called a tripod stand. Haha! Not the tiny little one which is of no much use orh! It's the big one that you can adjust adjust adjust de. LOL! Dear and I agreed that "Hooray! We can self portrait when we go traveling in future!" Haha. And goodbye shaking hands at night. Well, of course, that is, we bring the tripod out. Hehs.

 And sad to note, they did not give me an extra battery. I always believe that an extra battery is really essential because I always exhaust my battery, especially when we go traveling. So, we listened to the guy who sold us the camera. Go and buy it at Sim Lim. I was a little weary about buying non-Sony ones. But the thing is that ar, this offers triple the life and it's made in Japan, not China. Hehs. Plus, it's cheaper. Much much cheaper.

And then ar, I now have 3 different memory cards. I was really really really amazed that SD card and micro SD can be used! You just have to slot it in in different directions, tadang! You can use a different SD card! Hehs. So cool isn't it? So hooray! I have 24 gb worth of memory space now. Ha!

Well, about the camera itself. I thought it was really lovely. No? It's so light (compared to Pen)! If I use the 16mm lens, it would be even lighter lo! But heys! It's seriously good enough man!! And as a great fan of bimbotic stuffs, would anyone want to disagree with me that it really look really pretty? It's so lovely that there are already people asking me how much I bought the camera le. LOL! And the grey is a little silverish. PRETTY! The 'tiltable' LCD screen is big and the resolution is high. Aesthetically beautiful!

As micro four thirds, adjusting aperture, ISO, focus, shuttle speed etc is definitely possible. So, that brings to a bad point of Nexy. Using we have to adjust all 3 of them together (as I have read online) because we need to compensate one another to get the best image we want. But the thing is that, this is not possible. Shuttle speed and aperture cannot be adjusted together! WHAT? However, the reason why I don't want to upgrade to a dslr was because I don't want to be adjusting all the time! The iAuto mode take cares of most of the thing!

As the photographer, I just have to get the right angle! Lol.

But of course, I will try to learn how to make full use of the big range of shuttle speeds to take really nice photos. SOON!

To me, the defocusing is very important. It makes a photo look really really different! Hehs. And I was pretty satisfied. Well, maybe it's because my T700 was not that fantastic. But heys, that means, I got an upupupgrade! LOL!

Image quality is great. I love it. =D

So, I'm happy. =D

 

Oh, by the way, I got myself a free digital photo frame! It's so pretty and cool! Love it!! So, $1299 for so much stuffs, it's worth it! LOL!
