My lovely girls.

Friends are important to me. My buds are very important to me! We went through a decade together, we celebrated alot of occasions together, we listened to one another, we threw advices (or so we thought) at each other. Whatever it is, whatever we had done, I love my girls. =D

 

It was band which brought us together. 4 years of fun, scoldings, stress, drills, sweat, chew, skipping band, sectionals, gossips, tears, laughters, music, everything. Although not all of us were that close back at secondary school, it all budded from then. We had our proudest piece of work, Blue Shades, back at the Victoria Concert Hall. It is our common memory of us working together for that moment. I still remember how exhilarated it felt. When the light shone on us when we were at the stage. When the whole band played together, almost perfectly. When we finished our piece, the judges gave us a standing ovation. When all the soloist played their solos, the melody just filled the entire hall. When we were all so concentrated to play that piece a final time.

These are all tightly etched in my memory.

We all moved on from secondary school. Different schools, different subjects, different modules, different friends, different cliques and eventually, different fields. We may not understand each other when we talk about technical terms, but we are able to understand each other. We talk about spiritual de, sometimes. *Bang bang point fist at you.* Ha!

You girls rock!

Thank you for being part of my life. And I hope we will be able to continue on forever. Work, marriage, kids. They should be all part of all our life. Things may change but I wish our friendship will never change.

And finally, all 4 of us had graduated! From now on, we will all continue to soar and fulfill our dreams and have a great life ahead! Things may be in our path but I'm sure, so long we begin with the end in mind, all will work out fine eventually. Believe that it will, and it will.
