First, on Monday, as I checked through my plates again, I saw MORE CRYSTALS! Yes, they are small and fragile, BUT, they are still my precious babies. Give me a crystal any day! =)
Second, on Tuesday, the DNase assay that had not worked for me the first time I did, WORKED! Gosh! I feel so high when I saw my band disappear! Sue-Li and I were like hugging each other when we saw the results. Haha!
Third, today, Wednesday, I ran my thermofluor expt! Woohooo! I haven look carefully at the results, but, the temperature difference was around 10 degrees! The last time I ran it, it merely recorded less than 1 degree! IT WORKED! OH MY GOD! I'm so happpppy!
Results is what keeps me going! I'm loving my life every single day and I thank guan ying ma/other deity/god/every super natural power out there, for giving me a chance to enter this exciting field of structural biology. Or perhaps, I should thank Diyar, because he was the one who suggested going to the class to try out the lessons. I fell in love with it the first day I started it. Maybe many people will think it's boring, or rather, research life as a whole is a boring affair all together, I beg to differ!
Work's good + Friend's good + Love's good = Life's good!
