Seriously, I got a shock when I realize that my photos are pretty over-exposed, especially when there's light shining from somewhere. Florescent light and sunlight are killers!

| Taken with my iPhone 3GS. |
Like seriously, would an iPhone produce better image quality than a camera? Even if the camera is just a point-and-shoot? NO WAY! Because I started using my camera (Sony T-700) religiously when I realized that the photos it took is so bright and sharp. At least it's much better than iPhone. So when my iPhone started taking better photos, I'm worried.
Soon after, I realized another change in the camera. It is not easy to focus anymore. Even when I tried increasing the distance between the camera and the object.

| I cannot even have a good photo of the only cake I had for my birthday this year?! |
I almost went crazy as I tried all my ways and means to get the photos right. But the ones I show here are actually the best photos that I managed to take. Oh, and I had done a little photo editing actually. LOL!
But it'll behave itself under very good lighting. But the problem is, I had taken photos at my dining table before and I thought it still look pretty good.
So we've decided. We have to get rid of the camera before it really crashes on us. By that time, it would not be possible for us to fetch the price if we were to sell it now ba. Thinking of cash converters. Any other places that buys used cameras?
And so, while this is underway, we are now looking at new cameras to buy! Hohohoho! With the bit of money NTU will give me and the bit of money we get from selling the camera, we should be able to buy something around 400-700, depending on how much we want to pay at the end of the day. And since we are going to get a new camera, I want to get a good one. Because I love taking photos more than before and I'm seriously fully utilizing a camera more than before too! I don't need all the art filters and I just need a good camera that can take good photos.
Looking at canon S90 because my buddies have been raving good reviews about it because they want to buy it.

It's more or less a semi-pro because you can do a lot of manual tuning to it. But if you do not know how to use the tunings, it will still be useless right? Haha. Plus, it is so small and light. Pretty good for a compact I would say (as I had gathered from reviews). I don't care about the super high ISO the camera can reach because it is going to make my photo quality suffer. And the zoom wise, optical zoom will make the image quality suffer as well. I read that it's difficult to grip the camera properly because it is rectangular and smooth. I think I will have no problems with it because my current camera is like this too. LOL! It cost $699.
I have a special liking towards Nikon cameras. Saw this while I was browsing around.
Although it looks like a DSLR, L110 is not a DSLR. It's just a wide angle zoom camera. But hey, it look similar enough! But the drawback is of course the size. It's more than 2X the size and the weight of the S90! Haha. It is not as manual as S90. But unless I learn how to utilize all the manual tuning, this seems to be good enough for me. The thing is that, it seems that there are people saying that the picture quality is not very good because there will be some oversaturation of red (or is it yellow?). And we cannot tune quite a lot of things. But I think photo editing can actually save them ba. LOL! What's nice is that it has pretty good video quality. Comes in handy since I like to take videos. It cost only $499, so it seems good enough for the price!
I fell in love with the Olympus pen the moment I saw this one display at courts Tampines. It's beautiful~ Haha. So vintage looking right? Hehs. Ok, that's being very bimbo. Hahaha. But reviews of it had been really good. Picture quality picture quality picture quality! But, price price price. Hahaha!

No sony anymore because I think it is just a bimbo. Looks pretty but does not last. Haha. Considering the budget and the usage, I'm still bet on Nikon and canon. Any other recommendations? But seriously, I'm don't study photography in such depths that I would need a super duper good camera like a dSLR. D500? Because I am on auto mode most of the time. HAHAHAHAHA! But the new point-and-shoot cameras don't appeal to me anymore because they don't look pretty enough. Muahahahaha! But I want to start improving on my skills so that one day, I will be able to upgrade myself to a dSLR! *I forgot I told who to buy me one dSLR when I give birth* LOL! I still have a few years to learn the art!! Hahahahaha!
