Swimming!

Woooo. Ever since the last swimming session last week, I missed swimming. I had never ever missed a sport at all! Lol! This has to be something!!!

Well, as I was swimming today, I have a feeling that I know why I love swimming.

First of all, swimming is a form of exercise, and thus, we can be healthy and probably lose some weight at the end of it.

Next, you don't sweat during swimming! Haha. Okay, I bet we do, but the sweat cannot be felt. Instead, we feel cooling. Isn't that wonderful?

And one of the most important reason is that, I am alone when I swim. Yes, there's people at the pool and you probably have to keep getting out of each other's way. BUT! Other than that, it's just you and yourself. When I'm swimming, I concentrate on my breathing, on my strokes, on improving each thrust forward. I take notice of how much muscles work, how my ankle and knees perform, how not to get hit by other people. When you are swimming, it's so quiet because you are under the water most of the time. I enjoy this tranquility. When I'm swimming, I let go of all the thoughts that will come into my brain sometimes. I don't have to care what others think or whatsoever because I'm just propelling myself forward and that's it. I only know I have to breathe and move on. It's probably one of the best "me-time" that I give myself.

I love swimming. =D
