As I read on about the different ways and mechanisms that different viruses and bacteria actually use to avoid the host immune response, I'm appalled. They are just a small tiny thing that we may not even deem it as alive (I'm talking about viruses). But yet, for survival, they evolved and evolved.
We humans are multicellular organisms. We are supposed to be much stronger than them but we often fall prey to them instead.
But here, I'm not thinking of negative things like 人生还真的是防不胜防. Instead, I'm actually encouraged by these tiny things that most people call germs. If they can be so strong and resilient, why can't I do it too? I'm sure I'll evolve all sorts of mechanisms myself to survive through the phd years and the full of debt days.
