The feeling of "extended weekends".

The feeling of an extended weekend is fabulous. By that, I don't mean that I can skip work and stay at home on Monday. I meant that I get to see my lovely deardear on a Monday night. =D I've always been restricted to weekends only because of so many different activities we both have. And by weekends, it could mean just a Friday night or a Saturday afternoon only. Haha.

No, that's not something that I like. I did agree that couples may need time apart sometimes because distance makes the heart grows fonder. But seriously, I beg to differ nowadays. It totally brighten up my day the moment I know that I can meet him on the day. Sometimes we go to work/school together and on those days, I woke up feeling really happy and jumpy. And when he come down specially to find me for lunch (he purposely made sure that he has a long break between lessons so he can come and find me), I can drop all budgeting and dieting ideas just so that I get to enjoy his company for 1 hour or so.

I love sticking to him. Listening to his stories, telling him my stories. We share gossips and we talk about our past, present, future and our dreams together. We encourage each other and help each other along. We give each other pointers for improvement and we listen to each other. There's so much things we love to do together and yes there's also stuffs we do not enjoy doing together, like watching soccer and talking geek/science/art. Of course, I have had a lot of misfortunes recently but that only strengthen our relationship and showed me that my dear is my shelter as well as my teacher.

How can I not love my extended weekends? Even if it's just a few hours, every little bit counts. =D
