First Birthday Present of the Year!

Not too long ago, I picked up sewing from Mummy and I sewed a few projects with the traditional sewing machine. Haha. Not that I was complaining because it served us very well. That machine was passed from my grandma ok?! Lol.

But then, there was a day when my dear TXY told me that she thought of buying a sewing machine for my birthday this year because I was that into sewing that time (I am still!). That got me REAL excited! A NEW SEWING MACHINE?! One that I can
  1. Use in the comfort of my room (the old one was not under the fan and it's so difficult to set up because of all the tonnes of stuffs piled on it)
  2. As and when I want (I always have to trouble mama to help me set up the old one because of the tonnes of stuffs)
  3. Have so much more different pretty stitches (that's going to make my patchwork so much more interesting!)
  4. Most importantly, 掣边!(the aunties outside charges like at least $5!)
I'm willing to top up the remaining price if the present exceed their budget (which it did because I chose the slightly better one)!!

Tadang!

So pretty right? =D =D
The one reason why I got my present like almost one month in advance was because the courts is having a sale! I think this model used to cost around $500 bucks. We paid almost half the price for it! =D =D Such a great bargain right?! Hahahahahahaha.

A big scissors came free with the machine. A set of kit also came with the machine.

Need to get some more feets because the most important one did not came with it. Haha!
Itchy as I can be, I tried out the machine. WOAH!
  1. Bobbin threading is so easy suddenly!
  2. And not forgetting auto threading (I don't have to such my threads anymore. LOL!).
  3. And putting the bobbin in is SO MUCH EASIER NOW (I always drop it and have to grope in the dust with the old one)!
  4. And I realized we can use double needle! It's all so pretttttttty. =D =D
  5. And oh, the stitches are so pretty.
  6. But, I sucked totally in the backstitching. I can't control where I was going and I made a mess out of it. Haha!
  7. There's light when I switch on the machine. It really helped alot you know?!
Hehs. That made me a really happy Kelly you know? I love you buddy! For coming up with such a great present idea and realized my dream much faster than I thought I will. =D
